Delete your Skeddo account
You can permanently delete your Skeddo account and personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open the Skeddo app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm by typing
DELETEwhen prompted.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
If you own a group: if you are the sole owner of one or more groups, you’ll be
asked to transfer ownership to another member or delete that group first, so the group isn’t
left without an owner.
Option 2 — By email (if you can’t open the app)
Send an email to privacy@skeddo.com from the email address associated with your Skeddo account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name/alias, email, photo, and “about” notes);
- Your account login and authentication;
- Your group memberships, RSVPs, connections, votes, and notifications;
- Your chat membership and personal engagement data.
What may be retained
- Content you contributed to a group (such as an event or announcement you created) may remain in that group with your authorship removed (shown as a deleted user), so the group’s records stay intact.
- Transaction records for payments may be retained in anonymised form where required for accounting, tax, or legal purposes.
