End User License Agreement (EULA)
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and TODO-FILL: legal operating entity (“Skeddo”, “we”, “us”) and governs your use of the Skeddo application (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this EULA. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal or your organisation’s internal use, subject to this EULA and the rules of the app store from which you obtained the App.
2. Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, sublicense, rent, sell, or distribute the App, or use it to build a competing product, except to the extent the law expressly permits.
3. User-generated content and zero tolerance for objectionable content
The App lets users create and share content (events, posts, polls, documents, comments, chat messages, and profiles). You are solely responsible for the content you submit. By using the App, you agree that there is no tolerance for objectionable, abusive, or illegal content or behaviour, and you agree not to submit it.
Objectionable content includes, without limitation: pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material; any sexual content involving minors or child sexual abuse material (CSAM); graphic, gratuitous, or real-world violence, or content that promotes, incites, or glorifies violence, terrorism, or self-harm; and content that is harassing, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful. You agree not to submit such content.
To keep the community safe, Skeddo provides, and you agree to use only in good faith, the following:
- A way to flag/report objectionable content and abusive users from within the App;
- A way to block abusive users so they can no longer contact you or see your activity;
- Group moderation tools so owners and administrators can remove content and members.
We will review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and act on valid reports — including removing the content and ejecting the offending user — within 24 hours. We may remove content or suspend users at our discretion to enforce this EULA and our Terms.
4. Payments
Any dues, event fees, or donations collected through the App are for real-world goods and services and are processed by our payment provider. See the Terms of Service for details.
5. Updates
We may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the App. Some updates may be required for continued use. This EULA applies to all updates unless an update is accompanied by a separate licence.
6. Termination
This licence is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination, you must stop using and delete the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skeddo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
8. App-store terms
Your use of the App must also comply with the terms of the app store from which you downloaded it (for example, the Apple App Store or Google Play). If this EULA conflicts with those store terms, the store terms govern with respect to your use obtained through that store.
